The United States President Donald J Trump has called for an end to the killing of Christians in Nigeria.
Trump made this known when the Nigerian President Mohammed Buhari paid him a visit in the white house on April 30, 2018.
Speaking from the Oval Office, President Trump said the continued killing of Christians in Nigeria is unacceptable to the United States and the United States will take necessary actions to stop the killings.
Thousands of Nigerian Christians have been killed in Northeast Nigeria by the Bokoharam Terrorist Group and the recent killings of Christians by the Fulani Herdsmen in Southern and Northcentral Nigeria has continued unabated.
In Benue State Nigeria two Churches were attacked by Fulani Herdsmen killing more than 30 Church worshipers including 2 Catholic Priests.
Christians have been holding protests in different parts of Nigeria against the genocide against Christians with the latest being the protest held by the Catholic Bishops of Nigeria.
